Key Responsibilities- Monitor data centre network infrastructure to ensure continuous uptime and performance.
- Perform incident triage and troubleshooting across Layer 2/Layer 3 network environments.
- Implement operational network changes including DNS updates, DHCP/IPAM configuration, and Firewall rule modifications.
- Support network security operations across Palo Alto and Fortigate Firewalls.
- Manage operational incidents independently and elevate complex issues when required.
- Maintain accurate documentation for network changes, incidents, and operational procedures.
- Work closely with internal teams to maintain consistent operational standards and service quality.
- Strong networking fundamentals including routing, switching, Layer 2/3 troubleshooting, and data centre networking concepts.
- Experience supporting production network environments or data centre infrastructure.
- Equivalent knowledge to CCNP-level networking.
- Experience with enterprise Firewall platforms such as Palo Alto or Fortigate.
- Familiarity with DNS management and IP address management tools (ideally Infoblox).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills within operational network environments.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
- Duration: 10-12 months
- Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days onsite a week)
- Salary: £450-£500 per day Inside IR35
