The leading consultancy firm is looking for a skilled Base24 Engineer to join the team for an initial 6-month contract, with the rate signed off inside IR35. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, based in Swindon.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Base24 software applications.
- Implement and support ATM/POS projects initiated by the business, including migration from Base24 classic to Base24 EPS, card schemes, and other regulatory changes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues and service incidents.
- Implement updates, patches, and configuration changes to optimize system performance and security.
Skills/Must have:
- Strong experience in programming languages such as TAL, COBOL, and S-COBOL.
- Comprehensive understanding of Base24 engineering including ATM/POS functionality, transaction switching, VISA and LINK interfaces, and EMV standards.
- Hands-on experience with HP NonStop systems and tools such as VersaTest and XPNET.
- Proficient in Pathway/Pathcom, Enscribe, TMF, FUP, Enform, EMS, Batchcom, Device Handlers, Internal/External Messages, NCPCOM, Extract/Refresh, NETADRD, AFT Screens, ICE:XS, Security, TSS, ACI Desktop, RMS, and RPQ methodology.
