Responsibilities:

1. Deliver technical services to customers both onsite and remotely.
2. Offer technical support for in-house managed service provider (MSP) clients.

This includes, but is not limited to:

1. Administrative tasks, including migrations and upgrades for both operating systems and hardware.
2. New installations and implementations of operating systems and hardware.
3. Support for backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery.
4. Ad-hoc support for customers.

Secondary role(s) include:

1. Assist with pre-sales solutions and architecture design.
2. Develop statements of work for projects.
3. Facilitate informal skills transfer to customers and colleagues.

Required Skills:

1. Over 10 years of experience with IBM Power Systems (P8 and later).
2. Extensive expertise in AIX.
3. Proficient in HMC and VIOS.
4. More than 5 years of experience in storage and SAN technologies.
5. Familiarity with IBM, Hitachi, EMC, Pure, and NetApp.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with PowerVC, PowerSC, PowerHA, and VMR.
2. Proficient in NIM, LVM, and TCP/IP.
3. Knowledge of Linux (RHEL & SUSE) and OpenShift.
4. Familiarity with SAP HANA.
5. Experience with automation tools such as Ansible.
6. Proficient in PowerVS, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
7. Experience with IBM i.
