Want to take the lead on installing cutting-edge AV and PA systems at some of the UK’s most iconic venues from Glastonbury, Southampton Football club to the Royal Albert Hall?
This role puts you at the centre of delivering public address, voice evacuation, and AV control solutions for high-profile clients across events, commercial sites, and public sector facilities.
If you\’re hands-on with AV kit, confident on construction sites, and ready to take the lead on installs and integrations, this one’s for you.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise small teams or subcontractors on-site
• Interpret and work from schematics and electrical drawings
• Install and test electrical circuits and AV equipment
• Build and wire racks, install trunking, mounts, and speakers
• Terminate and test all audio and structured cabling
• Diagnose and rectify faults during installation or post-deployment
• Work with AV control systems (Crestron, AMX, RTI – desirable)
• Deliver projects on time with clear documentation and reporting
• Maintain safe working practices with RAMS compliance
• Represent the business on-site with strong leadership and communication
Skills/Must have:
• Experience in AV/PA/VA system installation
• Confident installing 100V line PA and public address systems
• Familiar with AV systems including control systems, conference setups, microphones
• Strong rack-building, cabling, and termination skills
• Background in engineering or electrical installation essential
• Ability to work from schematics and follow technical documentation
• Comfortable leading teams on construction/event sites
• Full UK driving licence + Right to work in the UK
• DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Work on prestigious venues and national events
• Company car + fuel card included
