A 6-month hybrid contract role based in Warwick (3 days on-site) paying £500 per day, for an experienced SCADA Test Lead within a power utility transmission environment. The position leads end-to-end testing activities across SCADA and Real Time control systems, with a preference for candidates who have hands-on experience with OSI Monarch. The role operates within an Agile delivery model and requires close collaboration with product owners, SCADA SMEs, and third-party suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead test design and execution across SCADA systems, ensuring full test coverage and that all tests fully meet functional design requirements.
- Assure third-party supplier testing fulfils client delivery requirements, leading defect triage and engaging the right stakeholders throughout.
- Work within Agile Scrum teams alongside the Product Owner and SCADA SMEs to ensure User Stories and test cases capture requirements fully.
- Monitor and report on test preparation and execution progress using JIRA/XRAY, managing risks and issues relating to testing activities.
- Ensure all testing follows a consistent approach, aligned to the defined Test Strategy, Test Plans, and central test tooling standards.
