We are looking for a Trade Support Engineer to support mission-critical electronic trading platforms within a fast-paced financial markets environment. This is a hands-on production support role, responsible for maintaining platform stability, resolving technical issues, supporting clients, and ensuring a high level of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 support for electronic trading platforms.
  • Troubleshoot FIX connectivity, Linux systems, and network-related issues.
  • Manage production incidents, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
  • Support client onboarding, connectivity testing, and platform configuration.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Product teams.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and service improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in Production Support, Service Delivery, Application Support, or Trading Systems Support within financial services.
  • Experience supporting electronic trading platforms in a live environment.
  • Strong incident management and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working directly with institutional clients, brokers, or trading counterparties.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Technical Skills

  • Strong FIX Protocol knowledge and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Linux administration and log analysis.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, firewalls, and connectivity.
  • Experience supporting low-latency trading environments.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.

Desirable

  • Experience within FX, electronic trading, or capital markets.
