We are recruiting on behalf of a global transportation engineering firm seeking a senior Project Planner to provide high-level consultancy to project managers and engineering functions. In this role, you won't just be managing a schedule; you will be the technical authority ensuring that project plans are resourced, realistic, and commercially viable.

Key Responsibilities
- Consultancy & Planning: Partner with project managers and engineers to construct fully resourced plans in Primavera P6.
- Resource Mastery: Chair resource planning meetings and coordinate with department managers to ensure timely staff allocation and optimal utilisation.
- Performance Analytics: Lead the Earned Value Management (EVM) and Critical Path reporting processes to identify slippages and forecast trends to keep projects on track.
- Financial Alignment: Coordinate the production of detailed budgets and ensure all plans remain realistic and consistent with 'Cost to Complete' estimates.
- Stakeholder Management: Build credible, high-trust relationships with customers and internal teams, translating complex schedules into clear, persuasive insights.
Requirements
- Technical Expertise: Primavera P6 experience is essential. You must be capable of creating and maintaining robust plans across the entire project lifecycle.
- Industry Background: Proven experience providing planning support within an Engineering or IT Development environment.
