The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Broadcast Systems Engineer to support and maintain complex broadcast systems across studios, MCR, and production environments. You’ll be at the heart of live operations, ensuring seamless content delivery and quickly resolving technical issues.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and resolve faults across broadcast infrastructure
- Support studio systems, MCR operations, and field broadcast setups
- Work across video, audio, IP distribution, and routing technologies
- Support ingest, editing, and media asset management workflows
- Analyse logs and liaise with third-party vendors where required
- Collaborate with editorial and technical teams
- Contribute to ongoing technical projects and improvements
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in broadcast TV, media, or similar environments
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Understanding of broadcast production workflows
- Knowledge of IP-based systems and networking
- Ability to perform under pressure in live environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Experience:
- Avid, EVS, or similar editing systems
- Linux/Windows/macOS
- Broadcast control or newsroom systems
- Encoding, media transfer, or networking (LAN/fibre)
