We are supporting a customer operating within a legacy manufacturing ERP environment who are looking for an experienced ERP Application Support Consultant to support and maintain a critical ERP platform as part of a long-term transformation programme. This role will focus on the ongoing support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational continuity of a legacy ERP system running within an IBM i / AS400 environment.
Experience with MAC-PAC ERP would be highly beneficial, however candidates with experience supporting similar manufacturing or MRP platforms will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Support and maintain a legacy manufacturing ERP platform
- Troubleshoot system, application, and user issues
- Provide day-to-day operational support across the ERP environment
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure platform stability and performance
- Support ongoing enhancements, integrations, and improvement activities
- Investigate incidents and resolve technical issues within the production environment
- Assist with reporting, data integrity, and system support activities
- Contribute to a wider long-term ERP programme
- Experience supporting ERP or manufacturing systems within IBM i / AS400 environments
- Strong understanding of legacy ERP or MRP platforms
- Experience in application support, ERP support, or systems support roles
- Knowledge of IBM i, AS400, iSeries, or DB2 environments
- Experience working within manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution environments
- Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience with MAC-PAC ERP
- Exposure to MAPICS, BPCS, Infor XA, or similar manufacturing ERP systems
- Experience supporting legacy application integrations
- Outside IR35
- Remote working with infrequent UK travel
- Long-term programme engagement
- Immediate interview availability
