We’re partnering with a leading UK systems integrator in the wireless and TETRA communications space to hire a Wireless IP Engineer in their Chepstow site. This is a hands-on installation and commissioning role working across nationwide wireless and IP-based projects, from IoT safety networks to major government deployments.
What’s in it for you:
- £30k–£40k Basic Salary DOE.
- 4-day working week (Mon–Thurs) – Fridays off.
- Overtime or TOIL if Friday work is required.
- Company vehicle for senior engineers and juniors travel with senior until trained.
- Long-term technical training in software, commissioning, and wireless/IP systems.
- Work on critical communication networks supporting the UK’s most important organisations.
What we are looking for:
- Aptitude to learn and adapt to new technologies (DMR, PMR, TETRA).
- Basic understanding of wireless and IP networking (IP allocation/addressing).
- Hands-on practical ability with hardware, installations, and cabling.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn software commissioning.
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points) – vehicle provided for senior hires.
