Events Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Events Manager to take the lead on a varied and ambitious events programme within one of the UK s most significant heritage destinations. From cultural and fundraising events to large-scale commercial activity, private hire and filming, you ll be involved in creating memorable experiences while helping to grow audiences, generate income and support the long-term success of the organisation. The Opportunity This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. You ll lead the planning, programming and operational delivery of events across an impressive and unique site, working with colleagues, suppliers, partners and external event operators. You ll have the opportunity to shape the events programme, develop new ideas and identify opportunities to increase income and engagement, while making sure every event is well planned, commercially considered and delivered to a high standard. What You ll Be Doing You ll manage events from initial planning through to delivery and evaluation, coordinating everything from suppliers, contractors and event partners to casual staff and volunteers. Alongside delivering cultural, fundraising and private hire events, you ll support filming and location hire and oversee third-party operators delivering larger-scale events.
