Hamilton Architects is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Business Development & Bid Coordinator to join our growing London team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop a career within the architecture and construction industry, supporting business development and bid activities across a wide range of sectors.

The role will play an important part in supporting Hamilton Architects’ growth across London and the South East. Working closely with Partners and the Bid Manager, the successful candidate will help develop client relationships, identify opportunities, coordinate business development activities and support the preparation of high-quality bids and submissions.

  • Assisting with the coordination and preparation of bids, frameworks and tender submissions
  • Supporting business development activities across the London and South East market
  • Researching prospective clients, upcoming opportunities, frameworks and market intelligence
  • Assisting Partners with client engagement, relationship management and follow-up activities
  • Coordinating client meetings, networking events, industry conferences and business development initiatives
  • Managing CRM systems, contact databases and opportunity tracking information
  • Supporting the preparation of client presentations, pitch materials and business development collateral
  • Assisting with marketing communications, social media content and practice profile raising activities
  • Coordinating consultant information and submission documentation
  • Assisting with reporting, pipeline management, business development trackers and key performance metrics
  • Representing Hamilton Architects at industry events, exhibitions and networking opportunities where appropriate
  • Providing general support to the London studio and wider business development and bidding team

About You
We are looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and eager to learn
  • A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Interested in architecture, design, construction or the built environment
  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Familiar with Adobe InDesign or Canva (desirable but not essential)
  • Previous experience in administration, marketing, bids or business development is desirable but not essential
