Hamilford Design is looking for an experienced Director of Operations to lead the day-to-day management of our fast-paced interior design studio in Notting Hill. This is a full-time, office-based role overseeing studio operations, project coordination, procurement, budgeting, team management and client delivery — ensuring projects run smoothly.

Working closely with senior designers, suppliers, contractors and leadership teams, the role is central to maintaining operational efficiency, supporting studio growth and delivering an exceptional client experience across both residential and hospitality projects.

What We’re Looking For:
  • ESSENTIAL Proven experience in operations management within interior design, construction, architecture, luxury property or a related creative industry
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing teams, workflows and fast-paced project environments
  • Commercially minded with confidence overseeing budgets and operational planning
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Minimum 5 years’ industry experience preferred

Requirements:
  • Candidates must already be based in London or within a practical daily commute to Notting Hill
