Health and Safety legislation throughout the home, including reporting of H&S incidents.
Carry out day to day repairs and some refurbishment activity to maintain standards in the care home.
Actively engage with staff, relatives and families as part of the care home team and regularly engage with residents.
Ensuring that regular safety checks and servicing is carried out on all equipment and accurate records are kept.
Having excellent communication with the Home Manager and also the Residents.
About You:
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair work.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Able to demonstrate Health and Safety awareness through discussion.
