- Ensuring all areas of the care home are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained, including bedrooms, communal spaces, and bathrooms.
- Handling laundry and linen care with attention to residents’ personal belongings.
- Managing staff rota, training and supervisions to ensure housekeeping team members are working efficiently.

- Previous domestic experience in a similar care home setting.

Joining us at Thames Wood House, our luxury care home that provides residential, dementia, and nursing care for older people, in Wargrave in Reading part of the award-winning Hamberley Care Homes, you’ll be part of a team that is genuinely passionate about the health and well-being of our residents.
Our Housekeeping team ensure the supply of both clean laundry and housekeeping service throughout the home and contribute to the provision of cleaning, laundry and domestic services to the home.
Residents live in spacious, stylish ensuite rooms, and enjoy beautifully furnished shared spaces and landscaped gardens.
From the deluxe picture house – where we screen classic films – to the on-site luxury spa – offering hairdressing, manicures and relaxing therapies – everything has been designed and finished with the care and attention you would expect from a 5-star hotel.
