Responsibilities
- Support residents, families, and colleagues in a well-being focused role, making things happen.
- Plan and deliver enrichment and well-being activities on a weekly and monthly basis, learning what makes each resident happy as an individual.
- Discover residents’ hobbies and interests and work with colleagues and families to keep them doing what they love.
- Assist with daily activities and organize events and activities within the home.
- Support colleagues’ own well-being, lead and inspire the home to create a positive and creative living environment.
- Maintain communication of care planning and activity engagement documentation.
Qualifications
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate yourself.
- Good interest in the local area with keen knowledge of community groups and events.
- Previous experience caring for people in a residential care setting or transferable skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience in care planning and activity documentation.
- Passion, empathy and a desire to improve people’s lives, making them enjoyable, rewarding and fun.
