Due to business growth, we have a new opportunity at Hamberley Care Homes for an individual with a passion for recruitment, administration and regulatory compliance to join our team as our Recruitment Onboarding Administrator. The Recruitment Onboarding Administrator will be working within a supportive team and championing best practice within our regulated sector and assist with delivering the recruitment strategy to support the resourcing needs across our care homes in the UK. This is an exciting, fast-paced role where no two days are the same.

The role will undertake the day-to-day recruitment pre-employment checks to ensure our new recruits are compliant before commencing their employment journey with us in our homes.

What you'll be doing:

At Hamberley, we believe that our residents deserve something 'Extra Special, Every Day'. Some of the things you'll do in the role include:

  • Deliver an efficient recruitment and onboarding administration service to the Group to ensure an effective, and compliant recruitment service specifically in relation to pre-employment checks including, employment gap analysis, visa sponsorship checks, Right to Work, Occupational Health, PVG/DBS and referencing requirements.
  • Work with the recruitment team and wider business, to ensure that all candidates selected as part of recruitment processes for full time, contract or temporary positions, are vetted in line with our company recruitment selection policy and procedure.
  • Ensure all administrative processes are in place and maintained to ensure we comply with Safer Recruitment Practices.
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment legislation and CQC requirements.
  • Utilise all IT systems including the Applicant Tracking System and maintain a high standard of knowledge by undertaking training as required.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure new starters are fully prepared for their first day.
  • Assist with the delivery of the recruitment strategy for the business.
  • Other ad hoc team recruitment and administration requests.

About You:

  • Demonstrable experience in a recruitment role, preferably within health and social care.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and onboarding.
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • An active team player but also able to work on own initiative.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship building and leadership skills.
  • You'll be well organised, and able to prioritise work based on urgency.
