At Hamberley, we are recruiting a Clinical Lead to help us achieve our goals of delivering compassionate, high‑quality care. Working with the Home Manager and Quality Assurance team, the Clinical Lead will be responsible for ensuring effective and safe clinical practice, monitoring standards via audits and observations, reviewing policies, implementing action plans, and providing reports as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold Hamberley Care Homes' values and lead the Clinical and Care teams.
  • Provide leadership, support, and supervision for clinical and care staff as advised by the Home Manager.
  • Handle on‑call duties according to the needs of the home and Home Manager.
  • Research, devise, and deliver written and verbal training modules and workshops to improve care delivery.
  • Provide feedback to the Home Manager on areas of staff improvement.
  • Support the Home Manager with clinically related aspects, including assessments of potential residents and liaising with commissioners and stakeholders.
  • Lead team and clinical review meetings.
  • Work with the Home Manager and QA teams to ensure effective and safe clinical practice, carry out investigations, and respond to complaints or concerns.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin and demonstrable post‑registration experience.
  • Previous experience working as a Senior Nurse or staff nurse in a Care Home environment is desirable.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Committed and organised approach.
  • Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
