Responsibilities:
- Supporting the chefs in the planning and provision of high-quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary requirements of our residents.
- Planning, preparing and serving balanced meals that meet dietary requirements.
- Ensuring all food prepared meets Food Hygiene Standards and that safe methods of work are always used.
- Managing all stocks and stores, ensuring all food is correctly marked and stock rotation systems are in place.
- Maintaining accurate records to satisfy food hygiene requirements, such as fridge temperature checks.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience working in a similar catering role, ideally in a care or similar environment.
- Committed to customer care and first‑class service provision.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations.
- Empathy and a desire to make a difference to the lives of our residents.
- Ability to multi‑task, work under pressure and on own initiative in a fast‑paced environment.
