Here at Halton Housing, we are looking for an experienced Priority Support Officer to work across our vibrant organisation.

Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Duration: Permanent

What You'll Do:

  • Manage a patch of properties, ensuring tenancies are sustained and resources are targeted effectively
  • Assess referrals, identify risks and vulnerabilities, and refer customers for appropriate support
  • Carry out home visits to assess property condition and support customers to maintain their tenancy
  • Manage a caseload, using data and insight to provide tailored support and improve outcomes
  • Support vulnerable customers, including victims of domestic abuse, working with internal teams and external partners
  • Provide clear advice to customers and colleagues, managing expectations in line with policies and procedures
  • Use systems and digital tools to manage cases, communications and records effectively
  • Work closely with partner agencies and represent the organisation at meetings to support customers
  • Ensure services are delivered in line with standards, legislation and safeguarding requirements

What You'll Need:

  • Level 3 CIH (or equivalent experience) with a good understanding of safeguarding principles
  • Knowledge of housing legislation and welfare reform
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and produce reports
  • Effective communication, problem-solving and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage systems, priorities and performance targets
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (including Teams)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
