Here at Halton Housing, we are looking for 3 experienced Maintenance Technician - Electricians to work across our vibrant organisation.
What Youll Do:
- Undertake electrical tasks which may include work on Electrical inspection and testing program, responsive repairs, void properties, aids and adaptations and planned improvement works to all our housing stock.
- Translate repair requests into repair tasks.
- Inspect, survey, quantify, plan, risk assess, and layout works prior to commencing any work and install equipment based on job specifications.
- Installation of wiring and equipment in line with applicable standards, currently BS7671.
- Test, inspect, commission electrical installations and analysis of results, to comply with BS761 wiring regulations and be accountable for the accurate completion of condition reports, installation certificates, and minor work certificates.
- Take responsibility for accurately and timely recording/checking of all paperwork/electronic devices, including timesheets and job tickets.
What Youll Need:
- Demonstrable experience of Electrical work with NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds, 2391 testing certificate, 18th Edition BS7671 course.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to follow defined processes and procedures in an accurate and consistent manner.
- Understanding and awareness of Health and Safety at work.
- Solid working knowledge of building technology relative with proven understanding of other trades basic functions.
