Independent Living Support Worker Quarry Court, Widnes Permanent, Part-Time

Here at Halton Housing, we are looking for an experienced and compassionate Independent Living Support Worker to work across our vibrant organisation.

  • : 22 hours per week Duration : Permanent

What Youll Do

Provide person-centred support to residents within independent living and sheltered housing schemes.

Carry out welfare visits and wellbeing calls to promote customer safety and independence.

Assess support needs and complete support plans, risk assessments, and related documentation.

Work with customers andpartner agencies to adapt support as needs change.

Attend multi-agency meetings and make safeguarding referrals where appropriate.

Support tenancy sustainment through assessments, customer profiling, and income and expenditure reviews.

Conduct property viewings and tenancy sign-ups, helping to minimise void periods.

Build positive relationships with customers, families, colleagues, and external agencies.

Advocate for customers where needed and empower them to access support and services independently.

What Youll Need

Experience providing housing-related support and promoting independent living.

Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations sensitively and professionally.

Understanding of safeguarding principles and responsibilities.
