Here at Halton Housing, we are looking for an experienced Fire Door Joiner to work across our vibrant organisation. Undertake fire door inspections, remediation and installation safely and to a high standard, using BM Trada techniques.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage your van and stock within it
- Order your own materials and fire door sets
- Meet standards and targets for productivity and efficiency and familiarise yourself with our compliance software
- Attend regular reviews with your manager to discuss performance and agree targets
- Influence and engage with customers to support HH in gaining access into their homes for fire door compliance checks and remedial works
Requirements:
- Experienced joiner trained to a minimum of NVQ level 2 or equivalent in joinery
- Holds BM Trada accreditation for fire door installation and maintenance or has worked under the scheme before
- Solid working knowledge of plastering and painting and other ancillary work required when repairing a fire door
