Here at Halton Housing, we are looking for an experienced Neighbourhood Safety Officer to work across our vibrant organisation. Fixed Term until September 2026.
Take responsibility for the management and resolution of ASB cases ensuring all Halton Housing customers and local residents are interviewed, investigations undertaken, liaising with legal and other professional staff and developing action plans.
Following investigation, decide the correct cause of action including mediation, acceptable behaviour contracts, legal action, including the use of injunctions, demotion, and possession orders.
Assist in the preparation of cases for legal action.
Co-ordinate Halton Housing involvement in multi-agency forums to agree a joint approach to tackling anti-social behaviour.
Experience in delivering an ASB service: knowledge and understanding of ASB action from initial complaint, interventions, through to legal action and eviction. Ability to analyse and monitor information/data, identify trends and recommendations.
