Here at Halton Housing, we are looking for a reliable and professional Caretaker to work across our vibrant organisation.
Hours: 7.4 hours per week (Friday 5.4 hours & Saturday 2 hours)
Duration: Permanent
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain clean, safe and welcoming communal areas and outdoor spaces.
- Carry out cleaning, waste management and sanitisation duties.
- Complete routine health & safety and compliance checks, reporting any issues identified.
- Support contractors, residents, meetings and community activities within the scheme.
- Monitor and report maintenance, security and customer wellbeing concerns.
- Deliver excellent customer service while promoting dignity and respect at all times.
- Weekend working is required as part of this role.
What You’ll Need:
- Experience in cleaning, caretaking or a similar role.
- Ability to follow procedures accurately and consistently.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Aware of health and safety practices.
- Ability to identify and report issues promptly.
- Basic IT skills, or willingness to learn Microsoft Teams and mobile technology.
- Flexibility will be required to work across six days, Monday to Saturday, including providing cover for colleagues where necessary.
