Main Duties
The successful candidate will beresponsible for
- The securityof the school premises, including opening and locking the site asrequired.
- To be responsiblefor the ordering of cleaning equipment and materials and the secure storagethereof.
- To beresponsible for the cleaning of a specified area in accordance with the County Council’s current standards and methods.
- Acting as akey holder and responding to emergency call-outs where necessary.
- Carrying out routine maintenance, minor repairs and basic decorating tasks.
- Undertakingregular health and safety checks of the premises and grounds.
- Monitoringand maintaining building services, including heating, lighting, firealarms and water systems.
- Ensuringexternal areas, pathways and playgrounds are safe, clean and free fromhazards.
- Liaising withcontractors and external agencies as required.
- Supportingthe preparation of school events and activities.
- Ensuring theschool site presents a positive image to pupils, parents, visitors and thewider community.
