Our Team: Environment Services plays a vital role in delivering a wide range of essential council functions. From keeping our streets clean and managing refuse collections, to maintaining our award‑winning parks and open spaces, we take pride in caring for the local environment. Working within our Waste & Recycling services department, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and efficient collection of household waste and recycling. You’ll be part of a dedicated team that strives for high standards, delivers excellent service and is continually working to improve the quality and sustainability of our services – helping to create cleaner, greener and more welcoming communities for everyone.
Hours: 37 per week
Your Contributions:
- To undertake duties connected with the removal of domestic or commercial refuse from premises as directed.
- Experience in waste related activities.
- Communication skills.
- A knowledge of waste collection practices.
