We are seeking to recruit a Principal Manager to lead our Care Homes and Reablement Division. The postholder will provide strategic and operational leadership to a well-established team of six Registered Managers across our nursing and residential care homes, bed-based reablement service, and community-based reablement service. The team is experienced, stable, and works collaboratively to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support. The Principal Manager will report directly to the Head of Service and will play a key role in driving quality, performance, and continuous improvement across the division.

Your role will be to spend time in services supporting managers to ensure they have systems and processes in place to evidence that the services are compliant with all regulatory activities. You will lead the team and provide effective leadership and support. You will produce reports with managers detailing key activity in relation to falls, safeguarding, pressure trauma, admissions and discharges. You will be supported to work collaboratively with managers and colleagues from our policy and practice team to produce and update policies and procedures. We will support managers with complex complaints and staffing concerns. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across adult social care to ensure the best outcomes for the people who use our services, their families and our staff. The service has an ambitious budget recovery plan, so you will need to support managers to meet agreed actions contained in these. With this in mind you will have budget management and recovery experience.

Hours: 37 hours per week working Monday - Friday
