St Luke’s provides high‑quality residential and nursing care for older adults, including those living with dementia and complex health needs.

The home supports around 60 residents across multiple units, offering a comfortable and welcoming environment with well‑equipped living spaces, dining areas, and gardens.

With a strong focus on dignity, person‑centred care, and community, St Luke’s is supported by a dedicated team committed to delivering compassionate and responsive care to all residents.

Hours

33 hours. The working pattern will be based on a 4‑week rolling rota; you must be willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.

Your Contributions

We are currently seeking qualified Nurses with experience in a care home or clinical setting, providing high‑quality care and support to elderly service users.

In this key role, you will contribute to the delivery of safe, effective, and person‑centred care across the home, ensuring clinical standards are consistently met.

You will bring a strong understanding of relevant legislation, best practice guidance, and regulatory requirements within nursing and residential care settings.

Some of the main responsibilities of the role include

  • Delivering and maintaining high standards of clinical care, ensuring compliance with professional, regulatory, and legal requirements while providing specialist nursing support and guidance.
  • Leading, supervising, and supporting care staff during shifts, overseeing the day‑to‑day operation of the unit and promoting excellent resident outcomes.
  • Developing, reviewing, and maintaining person‑centred care plans and risk assessments, ensuring accurate records and continuous quality improvement.
  • Working collaboratively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and the wider care team to ensure effective communication and coordinated care.
  • Supporting safe medication management, safeguarding, incident reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain the highest standards of care and support.
