Working within the Public Health Directorate, the Health Improvement Team provide a variety of services to the residents of Halton, encouraging and facilitating them to make healthier lifestyle choices. This includes the delivery and management of behaviour change interventions such as Adult weight management and exercise on prescription.

Hours: 37 per week

Your Contributions: You will be responsible for line managing a team of Lifestyle Advisors that work directly with local residents, to deliver weight management and exercise on prescription services. You will be supporting the Live Well Practice Manager in designing, implementing and evaluating interventions in a way which aligns with public health priorities and local population needs. You will be involved in delivering training, including building on our blood pressure champion program. You will be a part of a wider team that delivers Health improvement services to the people of Halton right through the life course from Infant Feeding to Falls prevention with the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills across a range of Public health initiatives.
