  • In the role of Environmental Engagement Officer, you will work closely with local councillors, residents, businesses and community groups to deliver educational initiatives, support new recycling and waste collection services and encourage responsible waste management practices.
  • As part of the role of Environmental Engagement Officer, you will respond to customer enquiries, explain relevant legislation and conduct follow‑up visits to address issues. Additionally, you will support community events, develop promotional materials and deliver educational presentations to schools and local groups.
  • To be successful in the role of Environmental Engagement Officer, you require experience of working with the public, community engagement and project management, along with strong communication skills and a flexible approach.
