Our Team: The Client Transport service have a fleet of accessible vehicles and cars that are required to transport SEND Children and Vulnerable Adults to various locations within and outside the Authority boundaries. The operating centre is Lower House Lane Depot in Widnes. Transport Co-ordination staff have several drivers/passenger assistants that are required on a daily basis to run the service. Split shifts: Monday to Friday Mornings & Afternoons. Each shift may have an operational difference, that may require a slight variation in length, dependent upon the daily requirements of the service.

Your Contributions: We are looking for a motivated and professional individual to join our team as a Lead Driver / Trainer. In this role, you will supervise staff, deliver MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) training, and provide excellent support to colleagues and service users. The successful candidate will be confident, approachable, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and customer care. A Full UK Driving Licence to include category D1 (101) is essential for this role.
