Reporting to the Head of Service, you will lead a small, dedicated team including a Senior IDVA and a Case Officer to provide frontline services supporting victims of domestic abuse. Based in the Municipal Building with flexible working options, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening Halton’s response to domestic abuse.
Responsibilities
- Lead the specialist team and manage the delivery of high‑quality frontline services.
- Drive innovation in how the council supports victims, families and address perpetrator behaviour.
- Oversee the Multi‑Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) partnership work and supervise IDVA staff.
- Ensure services meet the latest standards and legislation.
- Guide multi‑agency efforts and champion awareness and training across the workforce.
- Act as the Council’s lead on domestic abuse strategy, influencing policy and practice.
