The successful candidate will be a key part of the Transport Procurement team, primarily responsible for fulfilling trips requiring flights across all Brands within the Group.
You'll have experience of working within a busy environment, ideally working with Groups, and have strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.

Due to the rapid expansion of our company, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our procurement team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sourcing, pricing and booking of flights in line with budget and group requirements for all Halsbury Group brands.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with airline seat providers to deliver best commercial value and booking efficiency (airlines and flight consolidators).
- Liaise with airline seat providers to establish availability of seats and routes.
- Manage the process of flight schedule time changes, advance passenger check-in, and, passenger amendments, making any changes required.
- Ensure invoices are checked and processed according to commercial terms and conditions.
- Liaise with colleagues to resolve queries regarding flight requirements.
- Ensure that flight providers receive and provide all information necessary to operate their relevant services.
- Maintain and update internal systems with relevant flight booking information.
- Keep up-to-speed with industry updates to ensure that the Group is well positioned to maximise opportunity.
- Work closely across brands to ensure process and system efficiency is maximised.
- Work in tandem with the Coaches and Crossings Sourcing Manager to cover during annual leave etc.
- Organise support from the flights team during peak travel periods for our Out of Hours Service Team.
- Any other tasks that the business requires.
About you
Skills & experience required
- Strong understanding of airlines/flight consolidators, particularly with the booking of Groups.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Good commercial acumen.
- Exceptional organisational & communication skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and multi-task.
- Ability to work well as part of a team, and individually.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Knowledge and experience of flight reservations or managing bookings of Flights, particularly with Groups
- Awareness and understanding of flight reservations
