Hartham Park is set to become a sought‑after location for prestigious weddings, corporate events, conferences and other high‑end special events. With a recent change in ownership, we are making huge investments in our gardens, estate and house, so that we provide modern luxuries in a historical setting.
About the Role: Reporting to the Estate Manager, and as a member of our Grounds Team, you will ensure that the grounds are maintained to the highest standards. This is a full‑time position of 40 hours per week.
Key Duties:
- Weeding & pruning
- Mowing grass
- Hedge trimming
- Use of machinery
- Planting, digging and watering
- Some estate maintenance duties such as emptying gutters, sweeping, tidying, and other seasonal work
About You: The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a horticultural setting, and experience of using a range of horticultural machinery from handheld machines to compact tractors, ride‑on mowers and ATVs. You will be an honest, hard‑working team player who is happy to work in all weathers and will at all times comply with the site’s health and safety. This is a physically demanding role, including manual handling.

- CS30 and CS31
- Tractor driving
- ATV driving
- Horticulture qualification
- PA1 and PA6 spraying
