Quantity Surveyor – Groundworks Experience Required Birmingham Up to £55,000 + Company Car Office/Site based role Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a role with a reputable contractor in the construction industry? We’re working with a well-established groundworks and civil engineering company who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Birmingham. The Role: This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work on large-scale groundworks projects. The successful candidate will be office-based in Birmingham with regular site visits, taking a lead role in managing and overseeing cost control, budgeting, and project management aspects to ensure project success. Key Responsibilities: • Manage all quantity surveying functions on assigned projects. • Conduct cost and risk analysis to ensure project profitability. • Collaborate with project managers and other team members on groundworks and residential development. • Prepare, submit, and agree on interim valuations and final accounts. • Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget requirements. • Regular visits to project sites to monitor progress and maintain strong client relationships.
