Reach FLT Drivers Required – Day Shifts * 6am – 6pm (Sunday – Wednesday, or Wednesday – Saturday, or Friday – Monday) Challenge-trg Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading 3rd party logistics provider who distribute dried food goods such as cereals, crisps and beverages based from their purpose built facility in Warrington, WA3 6WA . We are looking to recruit for a number of Reach Truck FLT Drivers to join their day shift team on a long-term, temp to perm basis. Main Duties and Responsibilities: As a Reach Truck Driver, your main duties would include: * Safe operation of a Reach Truck in a busy warehouse environment. The site has roller racking that is double deep, and experience of operating a truck with this kind of racking is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided * Moving both palletised and case picked goods around the warehouse, stacking goods in the correct storage bays and following stock control instructions * Performing other warehouse tasks such as picking, packing and despatch where required * Stacking empty pallets and checking loads are fully secure * Performing handballing duties where necessary, to help load and unload trucks Candidate Requirements: We are seeking candidates who: * Hold a valid or expired Reach Truck license/certificate (in-house license is accepted) * Have a minimum of 6 months\’ reach truck driving experience * Have their own transport to travel to work (public transport in the area is limited) * Are hardworking, punctual and reliable * Are willing to support with warehouse duties as required along with Reach Truck activities Hours of Work * 6am – 6pm, Sunday to Wednesday OR Wednesday to Saturday OR Friday to Monday * 90 mins of paid breaks included in the shift * 48 hours payable weekly Pay Rate * £12.50 per hour, midweek days * £13 per hour for any core shifts worked on a Saturday or Sunday * Overtime is paid at time and a half after 48 hours worked (£18.75 in the week, £19 on Saturdays and £19.50 on Sundays). Start Date and Induction The start date for these roles is 1st July, however all candidates will be required to undertake an 8-12 hour induction prior to being able to start work. The induction is paid a week in arrears and candidates will undertake a Reach Truck assessment and a pre-employment drug and alcohol test during it. Inductions will take place w/c 16th June from 6pm with a view to starting work on days on the 1st July.
