Role: Duty Manager: You will be instrumental in ensuring customers and employees are in a centre that is safe, clean, open and busy. You will be key in making sure the centre meets its objectives, and be a caring role model who listens to the concerns of their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the centre is safe, clean, open and busy, meeting its objectives.
  • Act as a capable and caring role model for the team by listening to concerns and guiding staff.

Key Requirements:

  • 3 months of previous management/supervisory experience either in a leisure or a service-based setting.
  • Confidence to use basic IT software – Google Docs/Sheets or equivalent.
  • Centres with a pool – the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or the ability to achieve this with Halo's support.

Training & Development: Joining Halo Leisure, you will learn new skills in management, undertake a funded Level 3 Duty Manager qualification if you wish (or higher if you already hold this), specialise in an area of the business, work at different sites and contribute to the success of the business and the organisation. You will be one of the key people driving the success of the centre and receive a sector-leading induction and ongoing training programme.
