Location: Gloucester

Job Type: Permanent, Full time 37 hours

Salary: £14.18 per hour

Rota: A variety of shifts covering opens (from 7:00), close (up to 21:15), and alternating weekends (7:45-14:15)

As a Duty Manager you are proactive, approachable, calm, and decisive. You anticipate issues, manage emergencies, keep the shift running smoothly, and keep your team motivated. You receive a guaranteed fixed rota for work–life balance and have progression options within the organisation.

As the next Duty Manager you will be instrumental in ensuring the centre is safe, clean, open and busy. You will help the centre achieve its objectives and provide a caring role model for the team.

Key Requirements:

  • 3 months previous management/supervisory experience in a leisure or service setting
  • Confidence using basic IT software – Google Docs/Sheets or equivalent
  • Centres with a pool: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or ability to achieve this with Halo's support

Joining Halo Leisure you will learn new management skills, undertake a funded Level 3 Duty Manager qualification (or higher if already held), specialise in an area of the business, work at different sites, and contribute to the centre’s success. You will receive a sector‑leading induction and ongoing training programme.
