Overview
Vehicle Painter
Salary: £54,600 per annum (£21 per hour) with an increase on completion of 6 month probation
Hours: 7am – 5pm Monday to Friday, 1 in 2 Saturdays depending on business needs.

Responsibilities
- Paint vehicles to a high standard, ensuring timely completion
- Possess a strong understanding of paint processes and techniques
- Experience in preparation tasks such as priming and masking vehicles
- Use RPE and PPE appropriately and at the correct times
- Accurately match painted panels to the vehicle’s original colour
- Apply the necessary amount of paint for optimal results
- Inspect finished paint jobs and polish as required
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure quality and efficiency
- Work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment

- Proven experience as a vehicle painter in an automotive repair environment
- In-depth knowledge of all aspects of vehicle painting
- Strong team player, eager to support and collaborate with colleagues
- Capable of completing tasks from start to finish within set timeframes and to a high standard
- Able to work effectively under pressure and manage high volumes of work
- Skilled at meeting strict targets and deadlines
