Salary: £54,600 per annum (£21 per hour) with an increase after the completion of 6‑month probation.

Hours: 7 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday, 1 in 2 Saturdays depending on business needs.

Halo ARC is a leading UK accident‑repair group operating 38 centres across the country. We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Painter to join the Eastleigh team.

Responsibilities

  • Paint vehicles to a high standard, ensuring timely completion.
  • Prepare, prime, mask, paint and finish a variety of vehicles.
  • Use RPE and PPE appropriately and at the correct times.
  • Accurately match painted panels to the vehicle’s original colour and apply the necessary amount of paint for optimal results.
  • Inspect finished paint jobs and polish as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Work effectively as part of a team in a high‑pressure environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of vehicle‑painting experience in an automotive repair environment.
  • In‑depth knowledge of all aspects of vehicle painting.
  • Strong team‑player, eager to support and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Capable of completing tasks from start to finish within set timeframes and to a high standard.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and manage high volumes of work.
  • Skilled at meeting strict targets and deadlines.
