Halo ARC is a leading UK-based accident repair group with 38 centres across the UK. We are looking for a Vehicle Painter to join our team in Attleborough. The successful candidate will have at least three years of vehicle painting experience and a strong knowledge of automotive paints and finishes, and will prepare, prime, paint and finish a variety of vehicles to meet insurers’ stringent quality standards.
Salary: £54,600 per annum (£21 per hour), with an increase after the completion of a 6‑month probation period.
Hours: 7 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday, 1 in 2 Saturdays as required.
Responsibilities:
- Paint vehicles to a high standard, ensuring timely completion.
- Use a strong understanding of paint processes and techniques.
- Prepare tasks such as priming, masking and cleaning vehicles.
- Use RPE and PPE correctly and at appropriate times.
- Match painted panels to the vehicle’s original colour accurately.
- Apply the correct amount of paint for optimal results.
- Inspect finished paint jobs and polish as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Work effectively as part of a team in a high‑pressure environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a vehicle painter in an automotive repair environment.
- In‑depth knowledge of all aspects of vehicle painting.
- Strong team player, eager to support and collaborate with colleagues.
- Capable of completing tasks from start to finish within set time‑frames and to a high standard.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and manage high volumes of work.
