Are you a highly organised administrator who enjoys being the person a busy team can rely on?
We are recruiting for a Administrator to join a successful, employee-owned business based in Woking. This is a varied, behind-the-scenes administration role where you'll become an important part of a close-knit team, providing day-to-day support and helping to keep projects, schedules and administration running smoothly.
As an employee-owned business, there is a real emphasis on teamwork and everyone playing their part in the continued success of the company. They are therefore looking for someone with a positive attitude who is happy to get stuck in, take ownership and become a trusted and dependable member of the team.
This is primarily an office-based administrative position rather than a telephone-heavy or client-facing role. You'll work closely with the contracts team and provide key support behind the scenes, so excellent attention to detail, organisation and the ability to pick up new systems quickly are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the contracts team
- Coordinate subcontractors, temporary staff and site schedules
- Assist with arranging site visits, inspections and follow-up works
- Arrange plant and equipment hire and waste collections where required
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
- Prepare, update and organise project paperwork and documentation
- Assist with RAMS and other project-related documentation
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
- Keep schedules and project information accurate and up to date
- Support the team with general administration and ad hoc requirements
- Help ensure deadlines are met and nothing gets missed
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within administration, project support, coordination or a similar role
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A genuine team player with a positive, proactive attitude
- Someone dependable who takes ownership of their work
- The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfortable working independently while supporting a wider team
- Experience within construction, landscaping, facilities, maintenance, property or a contractor-led environment would be advantageous but isn't essential
Due to the office location, candidates will ideally need to drive and have access to their own transport.
What's On Offer
- Salary up to Β£30,000 DOE
- Permanent Monday-to-Friday position
- Hybrid working - 2 days per week from home
- Free onsite parking
- The opportunity to join an employee-owned business
- A varied role where you can become a trusted member of the team
- Supportive and collaborative working environment
If you're an organised, proactive administrator who takes pride in being reliable, accurate and a great team player, we'd love to hear from you.
