Here at Halmer Recruit, we are currently recruiting for a warehouse operative to join our busy client in Weybridge on a temp basis for about 3 weeks. (This could be extended)
The role includes but isn't limited to:
- Unloading & loading palletized goods on and off trucks.
- Loading and unloading pallets of goods.
- Working on a conveyor-belt system to pick and pack orders for dispatch.
- Packaging items for dispatch.
- Moving stock around the warehouse.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy & organized.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Some previous warehouse or picker packer experience.
- A motivated, can-do attitude who isn't afraid to get stuck in.
- Happy to repetitively lift boxes of goods that can weigh between 5-10kg approximately.
- Physically fit enough for minor manual handling and being on your feet all day.
- Able to start ASAP & commit until at least April 17th (could be extended beyond this).
Pay, days & more:
- Working Monday to Friday. (On rare occasions weekend work may be offered as overtime)
- 08:30am until 16:00pm
- £11.44 + Holiday pay = £12.83 per hour whilst a temp.
- Weekly payments, one week behind working week.
