The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Horticulturist working across South West London, maintaining some of the area's most beautifully designed private gardens, courtyards, and roof terraces. This is a full time permanent position offering a salary of circa £37,500 per annum, depending on experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with a 7.45am start and 4.15pm finish, including a 45-minute break. This role is ideal for an experienced horticulturist with excellent plant knowledge and a passion for maintaining exceptional gardens. You will lead by example on site, support junior team members, and deliver the highest standards of horticultural maintenance across a portfolio of prestigious private clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver high-quality garden maintenance across high-end private gardens
- Maintain design-led gardens, courtyards, and roof terraces to exceptional standards
- Supervise and support junior horticulturists on site
- Carry out seasonal horticultural tasks including pruning, planting, and garden maintenance
- Diagnose plant health issues and implement appropriate treatments
- Operate horticultural tools, machinery, and equipment safely
- Provide a professional and client-focused service at all times
- Ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working order
Requirements
- Minimum three years' experience maintaining high-end private gardens
- Strong horticultural knowledge and seasonal awareness

- Confidence working independently and managing daily workloads
- Full UK driving licence and confidence driving a company van within London
