We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Worker based in Hersham. This is a full time temporary position, working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm with possible extra hours on a Saturday morning, with pay up to £13.68 per hour including holiday pay. The start date is ASAP.
This Nursery Worker role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on, practical work. You will support the daily running of a busy plant nursery, helping with preparing, and dispatching plants to a high standard. You will work across different areas of the nursery, contributing to order preparation, and general site organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Move and prepare plants from greenhouses for cleaning, labelling, and organisation
- Pick, clean, and pack customer orders accurately for dispatch
- Assist with planting containers
- Maintain clean, safe, and organised working areas
- Support general nursery tasks as required
- Prepare plant orders with strong attention to detail
- Pick and pack plants ready for delivery
- Ability to carry out physical work including lifting, bending, and standing
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to use mobile devices for task tracking
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Own transport preferred due to location
