The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician to join an established family business providing planting and maintenance services to commercial clients across the Midlands and M1 corridor.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is genuinely passionate about plants and horticulture, enjoys working independently and is confident building positive relationships with clients. You'll manage a planned three-week rota, travelling to commercial client sites across the Midlands and M1 corridor to care for and maintain indoor planting, ensuring plants remain healthy, attractive and presented to a high standard.

This is also a very client-facing position . Many clients operate within professional corporate environments, including the finance and legal sectors, so we're looking for someone who is not only knowledgeable about plants but also personable, presentable and confident communicating with people at all levels .

You’ll largely manage your own working day and client visits, so reliability, organisation and the ability to work independently are equally important.

A company van is provided for the role.

  • Maintain accurate records of plant condition and maintenance visits
  • Transport plants, tools and materials safely between client sites
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times while working in commercial environments
  • Report site issues including access restrictions, incomplete work and outstanding plant replacements
