The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Project Manager & Estimator to join an established and highly regarded landscaping company based in
South West London .
Specialising in the delivery of high-quality hard landscaping projects for private residential clients, landscape architects and designers, our client has built an excellent reputation for exceptional workmanship and attention to detail.
This is a varied role combining project management and estimating, where you will be responsible for pricing projects from detailed landscape drawings before overseeing their successful delivery from start to finish.
Working on projects ranging from
£30,000 to £300,000 , you'll liaise closely with clients, designers, suppliers and site teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous hands-on hard landscaping experience who has progressed into project management and estimating.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quotations and estimates from detailed landscape drawings using Microsoft Excel
- Price labour, materials, plant, equipment and subcontractors
- Carry out site surveys and assess project requirements
- Project manage hard landscaping projects ranging from
- Set out complex hard landscaping projects on site
- Coordinate landscaping teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Liaise confidently with clients, landscape architects and designers throughout each project
- Order materials and manage deliveries
- Monitor project costs, budgets and profitability
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards
- Attend client meetings and site meetings
- Resolve technical and site-related issues efficiently
- Maintain excellent client relationships from enquiry through to completion
Requirements
- Previous experience as a
- Project Manager & Estimator ,
- Project Manager ,
- Contracts Manager or
- Estimator within the landscaping industry
- Previous hands-on hard landscaping experience
- Strong technical knowledge of hard landscaping construction methods
- Experience managing landscaping projects from start to finish
- Experience preparing quotations from detailed drawings
- Ability to confidently set out complex hard landscaping projects
- Excellent communication skills with clients, designers and site teams
- Good commercial awareness
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Full UK Driving Licence
