The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Garden Care Operations Manager to join a growing garden maintenance and planting company based in Lewisham, South East London. This is a full time permanent position offering a salary of £31,000 per annum, working Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the day‑to‑day coordination of a busy garden care service. Based primarily from the company's studio in Lewisham, you will ensure work is planned efficiently, clients receive an outstanding level of service, and the gardening team has everything they need to deliver exceptional results. This is an office‑based operational role that combines scheduling, client communication, quality control, and horticultural knowledge. Working closely with gardeners and clients, you will coordinate daily operations, review completed work, manage customer expectations, and continually look for ways to improve service delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily schedules of the gardening team
- Allocate work efficiently across the South East London service area
- Review video updates submitted by gardeners to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Carry out quality control reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Act as the main point of contact for existing garden care clients
- Manage client enquiries and maintain regular communication
- Coordinate garden reviews and seasonal maintenance plans
- Provide horticultural guidance and support to the gardening team when required
- Manage the company CRM system and maintain accurate client records
- Coordinate plant, equipment, and material requirements
- Respond efficiently to changes caused by weather, staff absence, or operational requirements

Requirements
- Previous experience within horticulture, garden maintenance, or a similar environment
- Strong horticultural knowledge and understanding of garden maintenance
- Experience coordinating workloads, schedules, or service delivery
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Strong customer service and relationship management experience
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail

- Comfortable travelling locally when required using public transport, cycling, or walking (driving licence not required)
