The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to join our Horticulture & Landscaping division based in Egham, Surrey. This is a full-time permanent position offering a basic salary of £28,000 to £32,000 plus uncapped commission. The role offers hybrid working, with Monday to Wednesday office based and Thursday to Friday working from home.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing specialist recruitment division with established clients, live vacancies and genuine national growth potential. Working closely alongside the division lead, you will play a key role in expanding both the temporary and permanent side of the desk while developing your own career within a highly ambitious and entrepreneurial recruitment business.

The Role
This will initially be a collaborative desk where you will work closely alongside the division lead across:
- Business development
- Client relationship management
- Temporary recruitment
- Permanent recruitment
- Candidate sourcing
- Account growth
- Vacancy management
The role will involve a combination of sales and delivery responsibilities to help maximise desk growth, client retention and candidate quality. Long term, the vision is to continue expanding the division nationally with opportunities for increased responsibility, desk ownership and specialisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing new business opportunities within the Horticulture & Landscaping sectors
- Building relationships with Grounds Maintenance contractors, landscaping businesses and horticultural companies across the UK
- Managing temporary and permanent recruitment vacancies
- Sourcing and interviewing candidates
- Building and maintaining candidate pipelines
- Managing client relationships and delivering high service levels
- Generating leads and identifying opportunities within existing accounts
- Advertising vacancies across multiple platforms
- Negotiating terms of business and recruitment fees
- Managing the recruitment process from start to finish
- Supporting the growth of a national specialist recruitment division
Essential Requirements
- Previous recruitment or sales experience
